To create a more diverse and inclusive live events industry through community engagement, training, mentorship, networking, and paid apprenticeship placement.

Why?

A backstage professional’s job is to fade into the background so that others may shine brightly. That low profile makes it tough for someone without resources or connections to find their way behind the curtain. As a result, the backstage industry has traditionally been virtually inaccessible to anyone without an existing industry connection. EVEN was created to bridge the gap by building an end-to-end pipeline from first awareness to first gig and beyond.

At EVEN we continually reflect on who the people within our industry are and will be - today, tomorrow, and 50 years into the future.
