Funding received will be used in the following ways:

General Operating Fund

Funding received by EVEN will be distributed to our General Operations Fund to cover operating costs. This provides for the day to day management of our programs, with line items including professional staff, grant-writing, legal and accounting services, insurance, IT, marketing, fundraising, and any other expenses typically associated with operating a healthy and effective nonprofit.

Registered Apprenticeship Program

Funding received by EVEN will also be used to manage and expand our U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP). Having successfully launched and run our program in California, we have begun our planned nationwide expansion. Typical RAP costs include producing standardized industry training courses, expanding infrastructure to support growth, onboarding and development of employer-partners and pre-apprenticeship programs, coordinating with state and federal agencies to ensure and maintain compliance, and providing multi-modal support for apprentices as they progress through the program.
