• Applicants must be at least 18-24 years old

• Resident of the greater Los Angeles area

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required

• Authorized to Work in the US

• Pre-apprenticeship training or prior experience in live events

• A passion for the industry and a willingness to learn

Program Overview

The Events Vocational Education Network (EVEN) offers a comprehensive Registered Apprenticeship Program designed to bridge the gap between aspiring technical professionals and the dynamic live events industry. Based in Los Angeles, a global hub for entertainment and live events, our program provides unparalleled opportunities for hands on, paid on-the-job training with some of the industry's leading employers. Participants are also required to complete Related Supplemental Instruction (RSI) through our online learning management system.

2. Competency-based, Paid On-the-Job Training:

   • Program term, 12-18 months.

   • Gain real-world experience while earning a competitive wage. Apprentices work directly with EVEN’s network of esteemed employer partners, participating in actual live events and technical operations.

   • Active Employer partners: 3G Productions, Fuse Technical Group, Volt Lites

   • The apprenticeship program is competency-based. Apprentices are evaluated at the 6-month, 9-month, and 12-month milestones to assess their progress in meeting defined competencies. Employer partners are responsible for conducting these evaluations and determining whether apprentices have successfully demonstrated the required skills and knowledge. Wage progressions are tied to competency completion—apprentices become eligible for wage increases as they meet specific benchmarks in their training.

3. Industry-Focused Curriculum:

   • The Registered Apprenticeship Program covers a wide range of technical skills essential for live events and our 6 career pathways. The virtual curriculum is asynchronous and tailored to meet the evolving needs of the live events sector while supplementing the on-the-job training.

4. Expert Mentorship:

   • Apprentices are paired with experienced professionals who provide personalized guidance and mentorship throughout the program. This one-on-one support helps apprentices refine their skills and develop a deep understanding of industry standards and practices.

   • EVEN's strong relationships with top employers in Los Angeles and beyond opens doors for apprentices to secure full-time employment upon program completion. Our apprentices will be highly sought after for their practical experience and industry-ready skill set.

• Candidates will be invited for an interview with the EVEN team to assess their suitability and enthusiasm for the program.

• Upon acceptance into the program, apprentices will interview with an employer partner, aligned with the participants’ career pathway and begin onboarding.
